Each month we count up the winning IRP appeal decisions from RoadSafetyBC to see where we stand. For as far back as we have records, going back now well over 2 years, each month we win the most IRP appeal hearings of any law firm in British Columbia. It’s a great track record.

This week we obtained the statistics for April 2015. We succeeded in more than 5 times as many IRP appeal hearings as the next most successful law office. If you add up the next three law firms in order of successes, their combined total is still less than half of our total wins.
In April there were 35 lawyers in the province who succeeded in at least one IRP appeal, yet 33% of all successful decisions were from two lawyers in our office. That’s astounding. It took 13 lawyers in BC to succeed in the same number of IRP appeal hearings as the two IRP lawyers in our office alone.
June 2015 is off the charts
By the middle of June 15, 2015, we had succeeded in three times as many IRP appeal hearings than we typically win in a month. We find that the more hearings we conduct, the more information we accumulate to assist us in the appeal hearings. For our clients it’s a significant edge.

Since the Immediate Roadside Prohibition law was introduced in 2010, our law office has been on a non-stop quest to succeed in 90-day prohibition appeals. We win the most because we have lawyers in our office devoted almost exclusively to IRP work.
How many sets of eyes?
When you take the top IRP lawyers in the province and give them each a copy of an IRP Report to Superintendent, chances are good that one or all of them will identify a substantive argument that may succeed at the hearing. Our primary method has been to have at least two lawyers review the difficult 90-day prohibition cases and occasionally three of us would go over the disclosure. Now we have up to four lawyers with the right expertise for the tough cases.

I want my grandson included in the Paxil lawsuit. My daughter wanted off of the Paxil but was told no. She passed away when her son was 5 months old. She died of injuries from an ATV accident when her son was 5 months old.
I have custody of her son and have been raising him since his mom passed . Shaenon has serious learning disabilities and will always need support.
