ICBC Insurance is not always insurance coverage
Many law firms deal with ICBC injury claims, and we do too, but we also deal with the difficult side of dealing with ICBC which is compelling ICBC to pay the claim under your auto insurance contract.
If ICBC suspects that a person has failed to meet one of their obligations under their insurance contract, they will look for evidence and legal avenues to find them in breach of their insurance contract and in many cases, they come back to sue the vehicle owner or driver to collect the money they pay out to the other party.
If ICBC has denied you coverage for any reason, give us a call at 604-370-3051. We’d be happy to look at your case.
Do you know the story about the person who got a big settlement from ICBC? It may have been money that ICBC collected by denying insurance coverage to the other driver or even suing them. If ICBC finds you in breach of your insurance contract, they may come back to collect the money from you, which can be hundreds of thousands of dollars.
