AK (Aasheesh Puri) is a dedicated criminal defence lawyer who began working with Acumen Law in 2022. Before joining Acumen, he gained valuable legal experience while articling at a boutique Criminal Defence law firm in Northern Manitoba in 2021. As part of his articles, he traveled extensively throughout Manitoba, attending circuit court locations where he represented Indigenous Peoples in various legal matters. Through this work, AK developed extensive hands-on experience in criminal law and courtroom advocacy.
