This evening we received an email from the Attorney General’s office concerning all the people who are in IRP limbo because of the appeals of Sivia. After we think about it, we’ll post an IRP update.
If you were represented by another law office and they didn’t want to continue with your matter, give us a call because we will be able to help everyone out. We’re making headway.
Website technology update
Our site, and in particular our blog, has become very popular over the last two years. We receive phone calls and feedback from reporters, other lawyers and generally kindhearted people from throughout British Columbia and across Canada. Thousands of people now follow our blog.
A while back we created a mobile version of our website so people could view the site on a smartphone. We were not satisfied with the usability of the mobile version, so we approached our web designer for a technology update.
You may have noticed some changes to our website in the last few weeks. Although the general look of the site has been maintained, the entire website has been converted to a responsive website format using html5, the most advanced programming language.
What this means to our readers is that regardless of the device you use to access our site, the entire site is now fully accessible. If you access the site on an ipad or any Android device, the format will automatically adjust to maintain the columns and all of the information. So on every page of the site you can access all of the links. All of the links will now function on any touch screen device, including machines running Windows 8.
We have also added features to help navigate the blog.
Apparently we are the first Criminal Defence law firm in Vancouver to move over to html5 with a fully responsive site. We hope that you find our website and blog easier to navigate and follow.
If you have any comments, as always just send us an email. If you need a great web design, contact Solocube, our website developer.
