The 2023 Legal Elite Award winners for this year have been revealed and we are happy to announce Acumen’s very own Kyla Lee is on the list.
The Legal Elite Awards celebrates and acknowledges law firms and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional innovation and influence within the legal industry, and highlight each lawyer’s notable achievements.
We are proud of Kyla for this wonderful accomplishment, she is truly deserving of it. She has an extensive list of notable achievements within the legal industry and serves on many boards, including the Communications Officer for the Women Lawyers Forum (WLF).
Her influence is showcased through her recurring media appearances, on both news and radio shows. Not only does she appear often as a guest in the media, but she is also a regular weekly panellist on CBC Soapbox Social, and on “This is Vancolour,” she has a regular segment titled ‘Kyla’s Court.’
Perhaps her most notable influence so far this year though, happened in March, when Kyla publicly exposed ICBC’s misleading video about distracted driving laws, highlighting its factual inaccuracies. Thanks to Kyla’s intervention, ICBC promptly retracted their statement, issued an apology and rerecorded the video with the correct facts.
Kyla continues to demonstrate exceptional influence within the legal industry and deserves to be recognized for her superb achievements. Congratulations Kyla, your Acumen Team is proud of you.
