Acumen Law Corporation is proud to announce that Kyla Lee has been named a Finalist for the 2020 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards for the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub Micro-Business Award, West. The RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards are the pre-eminent national business awards recognizing the country’s leading female entrepreneurs. Now in its 28th year, the program is an initiative of Women of Influence, an award-winning organization dedicated to advancing Canadian women.
From a pool of thousands of nominees, 23 Finalists from coast to coast have been selected to represent seven award categories. The RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards are the pre-eminent national business awards recognizing the country’s leading female entrepreneurs. The awards are an initiative of Women of Influence, an award-winning organization dedicated to advancing women globally. Kyla is one of three Regional Finalists being recognized in this category in British Columbia.
Acumen Law Corporation is a criminal defence law firm based in Vancouver that operates across B.C. It is known as a leading impaired driving and driving prohibition firm although it also deals with nearly all criminal charges and ICBC insurance claims and litigation.
Kyla said: “I am so humbled and honoured to be nominated for this award. It’s truly an honor and I am grateful just to be nominated. The Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards have been a huge inspiration to me so I’m proud to come full-circle and have the chance to share the company of some truly awesome women.”
Kyla also co-owns a digital marketing company, Brazen Bull, a distillery and she is the founder of the Canadian Impaired Driving Lawyers Association.
The winners will be announced and celebrated at the 28th Annual Awards Gala, on Wednesday, November 18, where all attendees will be digitally transported into the first ever Virtual Awards Gala. This immersive and experiential experience, which will be live streamed around the world, will shine a spotlight on all the amazing Canadian women entrepreneurs.
The RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards recognizes female business owners from across Canada who make impressive and substantial contributions to the local, Canadian or global economy. Candidates share a strong entrepreneurial vision and a relentless passion in pursuing their dreams. These awards recognize business women from three major regions across Canada: East, Central and West. All nominees were required to submit thorough applications, which are reviewed and judged by a panel of prominent business leaders and subject to a due diligence performed by KPMG.
