Kyla Lee: “We do in the sense that there is legislation in place to create community safety unit, but we don’t actually have any members out doing any enforcement or working as part of a community safety unit yet. Their goal was to deal with any issues related to legal cannabis enforcement. Despite the fact that we are now six months after legalization, the provincial government has still not got that unit up and running and doing the enforcement they need to be doing.”
