She does (have a chance on this argument). These are legitimate claims. The Charter of Rights in Canada guaranteed that people have to be told immediately upon arrest or detention on why they are being arrested. Warrant has to be executed within the timeframe set out in the warrant and people have the right to consult with a lawyer immediately upon being arrested. So there is a legitimate basis in law for the claims that she is advancing.
