“They basically reroute the entire alcohol side of the impaired driving laws. So we have seen a complete overhaul of alcohol-impaired driving in this country.”
“The problem with this law is that people who are completely incapable of providing a sample who have done nothing wrong and are completely sober are going to be targeted and going to be punished. In British Columbia of course, we have the roadside penalties and roadside justice for impaired driving. So rather than having your day in court and being able to argue that this is wrong before you are penalized, in B.C. people are going to be immediately penalized and face the consequences regardless of their innocence.”
