Driving Prohibition? Text us your notice
Acumen Law is making it easier than ever to dispute your driving prohibition. With our new service, you can simply take a clear, legible photo of the Notice of Prohibition and send us a text using the button below.
Your photo will be forwarded to one of our driving prohibition lawyers, who will contact you to explain the steps necessary to dispute the driving prohibition.
How to Send us your Notice of Prohibition
FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS
1. Locate your Notice Driving Prohibition or Notice of Intent to Prohibit
Make sure you know which one you received. With an Immediate Roadside Prohibition, you only have seven days from the day you received the prohibition to file for review. If you pass these seven days without acting, you’re out of luck. There’s no alternative. Make sure you act immediately to protect your driving rights. If you have received a Notice of Intent to Prohibit, there is also a time limit to submit your information for appeal: 21 days from the date of the notice. Please, please, please DO NOT miss these deadlines.
2. Take clear photographs or scans of all pages of the notice
It’s important to submit clear photographs of all the attached pages and documents related to your driving notice. Without all the information, our lawyers will not be able to find the best route to challenge the allegations against you. Remember, this information will be submitted to our lawyers, and they’ll need your info to be able to act on this.
3. Include your contact information in your submission to us
If we can’t contact you, we can’t help you. Ideally, please include a phone number AND an email address we can use to contact you. If you’re sending by text, make sure the phone you’re texting from is a number you have access to. We’ll be contacting you through the number you submitted information from. If you’re using email, please include your full name and telephone number so our lawyers can get in touch as soon as possible.
4. Hit SEND. The information will be forwarded to one of our lawyers as soon as we receive it
Please allow sufficient time (typically 48 hours) for our lawyers to contact you. Especially in the case of Immediate Roadside Prohibitions, you only have seven days, so make sure you leave us enough time to receive the file and prepare your case.
