The Women’s Suit Drive for UBC Law Students has been postponed until the Fall in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
As public health officials have urged Canadians to limit their contact with other people and avoid unnecessary outings we have decided to put the charity initiative on hold.
Acumen Law will suspend accepting and collecting donations until further notice. This decision has been made in the interests of public health.
We will still accept donations by mail and we are happy to take your cash donations and gift cards and pass them onto UBC law students. Email [email protected] for information on how you can still send donations.
We hope to resume our participation in The Women’s Suit Drive, organised by Kyla Lee in partnership the UBC Indigenous Legal Studies Program and the Centre for Feminist Studies, in the Fall.
