We like to have fun at Acumen Law Corporation. We had a lot of fun on Talk Like A Pirate Day so we tried another out-of-the-box idea, a country song. Lawyer Told Me Not to Talk to You was released at high noon on Tuesday. You can watch the music video we shot for it here:

Lawyer told me not to talk to you
For those that don’t know, the title of the song comes from Acumen’s registered trademark phrase, Lawyer told me not to talk to you®. The response to the phrase was really positive. So much so that we had a bunch of shirts made emblazoned with the slogan and they swiftly ran out.

What better way to celebrate success than with a catchy country tune? The message will hopefully catch on too. Its main purpose is to remind people to exercise their rights more when they have to deal with law enforcement.
We had a lot of fun filming the music video with the help of Brazen Bull Creative in Richmond. We also took to the streets guerilla filmmaking style to shoot footage on the beautiful streets of Vancouver and around our Richmond office.
And don’t touch that dial! Expect more music soon.
