“We have had clients who have been issued tickets for having open cannabis in their car or for smoking or vaping while in a vehicle but significant number of criminal charges that were predicted simply have not come to prohibition.”
“It is absolutely a good thing and I think it is a testament to the fact that the police were already prepared to deal with this. We already had training, we already had provisions in the criminal code that were being used and a testament to the fact that cannabis users in this country were already using it responsibly and we are already making responsible decisions when it comes to driving.”
