Criminal lawyer Kyla Lee joins us to talk about a new drug-testing device recently approved by the justice minister.
Kyla: “Both the government and the manufacturer have kept a lot of information about the device under wraps. What we can tell is that there are essentially cartridges that are inserted into the device, a testing swab that’s then inserted into the cartridge and the device will register a positive reading if it detects a threshold level of THC in a persons’ bloodstream.”
