“Unfortunately there’s not a lot that the family can do beyond what they’ve already done… Trying to make plans to change the road and get safety features installed on the road, and it looks like there is now a Provincial Government plan in place to fix that 17km stretch of roadway. But in these situations, because of the changes with ICBC cap on wrongful death lawsuits… Beyond getting compensation for the death, there is not a lot that somebody can do other than advocate to try to prevent another tragedy like this from happening.”
