Notice to our clients who have temporary drivers licenses

IF YOU HAVE a temporary drivers license that will expire on June 30 and we filed a Petition in court to put off the prohibition, we need you to contact our office immediately.

The Court has not rendered a decision concerning the remedy in Sivia. We expect a decision right away, but we still don’t know how the court will rule. And in any event, if we filed a Petition in BC Supreme Court to get your license back, the order expires this week and your license will be cancelled if we do not file a new order for you.

So we ask all of our clients who have a temporary drivers license to telephone us today between 9:30 and 3:30 to give us instructions to file a new order extending the temporary license until November.

PLEASE NOTE: This does not apply to anyone for whom we filed a Petition to lift the Interlock and RDP requirements.

This only applies to people who were still serving the 90-day driving prohibition and who had the prohibition lifted pending a decision of the court.

After 11:30 a.m. Monday June 25, if no decision has been rendered, we will begin filing applications to extend the order for all clients who have telephoned us to give us instructions to go ahead.
