Saul Benary (They/He)

Saul brings an empathetic and enthusiastic approach to the practice of law. They recognize people come to litigators for help during stressful periods when a legal battle is afoot. Saul believes his clients are served best when the legal advice and assistance they receive address both the legal and human components of the issues.

Regarding their practice, Saul helps clients with litigation involving contract breaches in the areas such as employment, business, tenancy, and real estate; driving violations; torts such as battery, negligence, and defamation; and non-vehicular personal injury. To these areas, he brings his prior experience in dealing with employers in an union environment and dealing with businesses of all sizes nationwide as a director of two 2SLGBTQIA+ chambers of commerce.

Saul was called to the bar in British Columbia and Alberta in 2022 and maintains practicing status in British Columbia. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2021, having studied in the law programs at the Universities of Saskatchewan and Calgary. Saul received a Bachelors of General Studies with Great Distinction from the Athabasca University in 2018, where they focused on legal studies, philosophy, and business.

In their spare time, Saul enjoys exploring the bountiful nature with their husband in their new home in the Lower Mainland, dining out with friends, hosting viewing parties for RuPaul’s Drag Race, staying current with international news.
